Our story

Five generations of Texas. One buzzing dream.

At Spoiled Brat Bees Apiary, we keep bees the way Texas land deserves — carefully, sustainably and for the long haul. Today our work centers on our own hives, leasing managed hives to landowners who want to keep their land in agricultural use, and providing pollination for regenerative farms. And yes — our raw honey is now available in our shop.

As a 5th generation Texan, I, Philip, have always been rooted in the rich heritage of the Lone Star State. My journey has taken me across the vast Texas landscape, finally settling in one place long enough to nurture a dream that had long been buzzing in my heart — beekeeping.

This passion soon blossomed into a deeper love for apiculture, and I found myself drawn to the art of saving these precious creatures. Joining a local bee club was the catalyst that transformed my hobby into a purpose, leading me to establish Spoiled Brat Bees LLC.

Our apiary is nestled in the Cross Timbers region of Texas. Our mission is to raise strong, healthy colonies and put them to work on Texas land — supporting local agriculture, regenerative growers and the pollinators we all depend on.
